Mineral oil sits on skin; plant oils feed it.

Conventional body oils and lotions often rely on mineral oil and petrolatum — petroleum-derived ingredients that mainly form a surface seal, and whose hydrocarbons (MOSH) have been shown to accumulate in human tissue. Ours nourish with shea, argan, jojoba and sweet-almond oils — lipids close to skin's own.
