US and EU sun filters aren't the same.
An FDA study (JAMA, 2020) found several chemical sunscreen filters absorb into the bloodstream above the agency's own testing threshold after a single use; Hawaii and Palau restricted oxybenzone and octinoxate over absorption and reef concerns. Europe permits newer, more photostable filters. Our certified formula follows the cleaner European approach.

Fragrance is the one ingredient a maker may legally leave undisclosed as a single word, "Parfum."
