SLS/SLES or ethoxylates in our formula

SLS/SLES — the harsh foam, and a 1,4-dioxane risk.

Sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate (SLS/SLES) create the rich foam in many shampoos and washes, but are a standard benchmark for skin irritation; the ethoxylated form (SLES) can also carry trace 1,4-dioxane. Our certified-organic washes foam with plant-based APG instead — gentler, and free of that contamination risk.

No D4/D5/D6 silicones.

Cyclic silicones (D4, D5, D6) are restricted by the European Chemicals Agency over persistence concerns. They appear in no COSMOS-certified product — ours use jojoba and plant squalane for the same silky feel.

fragrance allergens we name on the label

"Parfum" is disclosed by name, not hidden.

Fragrance is the one ingredient a maker may legally leave undisclosed as a single word, "Parfum." In our certified products, every allergenic fragrance component is named on the label (Limonene, Linalool, Citral…) so a sensitive customer knows exactly what she's avoiding. EU rule 2023/1545 expands required allergen labelling to 80+ components.
